Life

Life as we know it is all a huge lie.
It's unfair, it betrays us, and it toys with us.
We can't survive the misery it always puts us through.
We watch ourselves fade away in all the despair.
 We do anything to escape the pain by going numb.
But we always go back to reality.
We can never escape it.
Do we love to hate?
Or do we hate to love?
Do we really need everything we want?
Or do we really want everything we need?
What's our purpose in life?
Do we really want to live through this tragedy?
Through the corruption and the disaster we still live.
But times always get tougher.
So we rob and steal to feed our starving families.
But it never helps.
It only makes it worse.
And it rampages through the streets.
It takes everything from us.
It leaves us empty handed.
And it suffocates us.
Ironically
we want more.
